Where the giant oaks of the Spačvan forest reign for centuries and where liquid gold is obtained from plums – in the heart of Cvelferija, in Vrbanja, three generations of the Nekić family have been brewing brandy that is enjoyed, with which one wakes up or stays awake until dawn.
A long, centuries-old tradition gave birth to the young Nekić Distillery, which, under the motto “Kapljica tradicije” and its surname as a guarantor of quality, presents itself to the demanding market, which has already recognized their drop as the one that is truly golden.
In Cvelferija, but also throughout Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, to which the proud Cvelfers belong, rakija is the drink with which everything begins and ends, with which one celebrates but also mourns.
The Nekić distillery has brought its plum, pear, quince, apricot, vine and apple brandies, as well as višnjevac and medica liqueurs, to a modern level of top quality according to traditional recipes that have been perfected with a large dose of self-criticism.

You will be hosted by a real Cvelfer host and entrepreneur who is also the founder of the Distillery, Miro and his lovely wife and business partner, Željka, where they both live and breathe for the success of this young distillery.
