If you only have one day to visit the Tourist Board of the Spa\u010dva Forest Area, we suggest that you combine the cultural heritage and natural attractions of this opulent region.<\/p>\n

You can start your day from two starting points. In the town of Otok, explore the Oto\u010dka suvara<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, a unique dry mill that was powered by horses, then walk to the parish church of St. Anthony of Padua<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in the centre of the city. If you start your day from the other end, at the Slavonska ku\u0107a<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in Bo\u0161njaci, you will find out how people used to live in these parts 200 years ago. Alternatively, you can visit the \u0160umarski muzej<\/strong><\/span><\/a> in Bo\u0161njaci, where you will discover the fascinating history of the entire region’s forestry, and the special significance of the pedunculate oak forests from the Spa\u010dva Forest.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

And then head to the very heart of the Spa\u010dva Forest to experience in person what you have so far absorbed in theory. Only a few kilometres from Otok or Bo\u0161njaci (depending on which direction you are coming from) you will find the Oto\u010dki Virovi<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, i.e. Bo\u0161nja\u010dki Vjerovi. It is a unique area in the Spa\u010dva Forest, where you will be greeted by traditional food in the Virovi restaurant<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and have numerous opportunities for recreation after a delicious Srijem lunch, which you must finish with a local traditional dessert such as salenjaci or ta\u010dke.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Or rent a bicycle and cycle through the heart of the Spa\u010dva Forest along one of the marked cycling routes<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that pass through this area. If you like water, rent a kayak or a canoe and paddle down<\/strong><\/span><\/a> the Virovi stream, to discover the rich animal life of our area.
